Mobile Steam Table
This mobile steam table is designed to hold and maintain the temperature of hot food in various size pans for use in meal assembly on traylines and cafeterias. A host of options provides the user with the exact feature set to meet their individual needs. These mobile units are ideal when transport of hot food is desired within the institution for “point of service” or remote feeding applications. Available with an optional extended, continuous perimeter bumper, this unit is designed to survive the rigors of typically heavy institutional use. The rugged, all stainless design insures years of easy low maintenance. Wells are individually insulated with 1" (25mm) thick fiberglass insulation in addition to 1/4" (6mm) ceramic fiber insulation on the bottom. Each well contains a carbon steel heat dispersion plate for even heating. Each well also contains a 1000 watt heating element with infinite controls and pilot light. On the heat-in-base models the base contains an individual thermostat control located on the electrical raceway below the drop-hinged shelf. Three and four opening units have 1500 watts in the base while the five opening units contain 2000 watts in the base. |
